Annie was born as Anicka in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 26th February 1965. She along with her family relocated around quite often during her childhood because of her parents work. This created a bit of difficulty for her in finding and making new friends at times.

Annie first met Rodman at a nightclub in Sacramento in 1987 shortly after she stopped working as a model after her road accident. She thought he was a sweet and kind man when they first laid eyes. The couple started dating after a few meetings. A year later in 1988, she gave birth to her only daughter Alexis Rodman. After around four years of relationship in 1991, Annie and Dennis married.
The marriage didn’t work out as expected and Annie even thought that it turned to be her disastrous decision even. She mentioned that her spouse cheated on her and repeatedly forced her to undergo abortions 4 times because he often beat her.
In 1993, she found that she had transmitted an STI from him then-husband Dennis which led the duo to a nasty fight and the couple ended up calling their marriage off. The same year, she filed for divorce which finalized later that year.

She began her career early by the print work. She engaged in modelling from 16 years of age when a modelling agent approached her. Annie stayed and carried on her modelling career from a higher pitch as she got involved in mature modellings such as lingerie and swimwear projects.
As she chased her modelling career, she worked at nightclubs side by side to support her income. In 1986, she had to end her modelling career due to a road accident which left her with injuries and scars.
