Bridget Condon Biography
Bridget Condon is an American sports anchor. She is a sports reporter for ABC11 Eyewitness News – WTVD in North Carolina. She joined the station from CBS19 in Charlottesville, Virginia and is excited to dive deeper into covering the ACC.
Bridget is also excited to continue finding unique stories that emphasize how much sports influence lives.

Bridget is a graduate from James Madison University, where she studied both journalism and Spanish. She studied abroad during the spring semester of her junior year in Sevilla, Spain and has had the travel bug ever since.

Bridget was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. This is where her two older sisters, Mom, Dad and puppy Huxley still live. Bridget has always been and will always be one of those wild Boston sports fans, from reversing the curse to deflating the football she will never betray the beloved Boston Sports Army.

Just like some of journalist Bridget has kept her personal life away from public. She has not yet revealed any information regarding her being married, engaged or dating. Currently it is not clear if Bridget is married, dating or engaged. When she is not at work she enjoys being outside doing activities such as hiking, biking, running or just kicking around a ball. Growing up near Cape Cod, Bridget is a huge fan of the beach and water activities.

Bridget joined ABC11 from CBS19 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is excited to dive deeper into covering the ACC. Bridget is also excited to continue finding unique stories that emphasize how much sports influence lives. She has always loved telling stories to her family and friends, and is excited to now be able to tell stories to the rest of the world. She has a creative and unique perspective and loves mastering new techniques. Bridget is Sports Reporter and Anchor for WTVD in Durham, N.C.
Bridget Condon JMU
At JMU Bridget worked as a sideline reporter and pre-game anchor for MadiZONE HD SportsNet. She also worked as a sideline reporter for Telemedia Productions, covering the Shenandoah football game of the week and EMU basketball. She had two internships during her time at JMU, the first in Los Angeles, California with Time Warner Cable Deportes and the second at the Newsplex. She studied abroad during the Spring Semester of her Junior year in Sevilla, Spain and has had the travel bug ever since.
Bridget has always been a huge sports fanatic having grown up in the Greater Boston Area. She loves being in the heat of the moment and her favorite seat? The sideline. Bridget loves telling stories to her family and friends, and is excited to now be able to tell stories to the rest of the world. She has a creative and unique perspective and loves mastering new techniques.
Bridget was an athlete herself, she was a captain and MVP of her high school Field Hockey team and a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team. She also is a two-time Intramural Champ at JMU, once for Field Hockey and once for Street Hockey.
As a sports reporter Bridget covers alot of fun and a happy things. At her last station in Charlottesville during the weekend of the Charlottesville rally it was all hands on deck. She covered news event and a very unpleasant one to say the least for the first time. Bridget exprienced as saw so many things that day that were out of the norm for her as a sports reporter. Ultimately that weekend made her stronger reporter and person.
