Christopher Lloyd Biography

Christopher Lloyd is an American actor, voice actor, and comedian. Christopher became famous in Northeastern theater productions during the 1960s and early 1970s where he earned an Obie Award and a Drama Desk Award for his work.

Christopher made his screen debut in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975). He gained widespread recognition as Jim Ignatowski in the comedy series Taxi (1978–1983), for which he won two Emmy Awards.

Christopher also starred as Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993).

For his 1992 guest appearance in Road to Avonlea he earned a third Emmy , and won an Independent Spirit Award for his performance in Twenty Bucks (1993). He has done considerable voice work, including Merlock in DuckTales the Movie (1990), Grigori Rasputin in Anastasia (1997), The Woodsman in Cartoon Network miniseries Over the Garden Wall (2014).

The Hacker in PBS Kids series Cyberchase from 2002–present, which earned him two further Emmy nominations. He has also been nominated for two Saturn Awards and a BIFA Award

Christopher was born, in Stamford, Connecticut. He is the son of Samuel R. Lloyd, Jr, a lawyer, and his wife Ruth (née Lapham; 1896–1984), a singer and sister of San Francisco mayor Roger Lapham.  Christopher is the youngest of four girls and three boys, one of whom, Samuel Lloyd, was an actor in the 1950s and 1960s.  His maternal grandfather, Lewis Henry Lapham, was one of the founders of the Texaco oil company, and Lloyd is also a descendant of Mayflower passengers, including John Howland.  Christopher was raised in New Canaan, Connecticut.

Christopher Lloyd Addams

The Addams Family is a supernatural black comedy film. It is based on the characters from the cartoon created by cartoonist Charles Addams and the 1964 TV series produced by David Levy. It  was directed by former cinematographer Barry Sonnenfeld in his screen directing debut.

It stars Anjelica Huston, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Morticia Addams, Raúl Juliá as Gomez Addams, Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams, and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester.

The film is based on a bizarre, macabre, aristocratic family who reconnect with who they believe to be a long-lost relative, Gomez’s brother, Fester Addams, who is actually the adopted son of a con artist intending to swindle the Addams clan out of their vast wealth and fortune.

Christopher Lloyd Fringe

“The Firefly” is the 10th episode of the third season of the American science fiction drama television series Fringe. It is also  the 53rd episode overall. The episode centers on a chain of events created by Walter crossing over into the parallel universe in 1985 that has had subtle but significant effects in the present. Christopher Lloyd guest-starred as retired rocker Roscoe Joyce.

It was the first episode in its new Friday time slot.  It  aired on January 21, 2011 in the United States to 4.88 million viewers, outperforming the previous episode “Marionette” Thursday night viewership by 18%. Time moved viewership added 42% in its ratings.  “The Firefly”received generally positive reviews, with many praising the storyline as “elegant” and “beautiful.”
