Dwyer had a seriously great Olympics in Rio, but news of the drama surrounding Ryan Lochte’s alleged mugging at gunpoint has been the main focus of news around most USA swimmers.
“We had a little bit of a hiccup last night with Ryan [Lochte],” Dwyer told AOL in an exclusive interview at Holland’s Heineken House on Sunday. “I was with him earlier that night, I wasn’t with him when it went down, but I’m sure the story will come out.”
