Emily Welsh is an American Journalist. Currently she anchor the weekend evening newscasts at KMBC (ABC) and KCWE (CW) in Kansas City. She enjoy being an active part of the news team, pitching story ideas and helping to organize breaking news coverage. Before joining KMBC-TV and KCWE-TV, she began her career in broadcasting in her hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. Emily worked as a reporter before moving into the evening anchor role at WSEE, which she held for nearly two years.
