On the show he appears alongside his girlfriend Brandi Passante which sometimes forces him into some decisions have charmed the audiences with their friendly bickering. Jarrod once served 16 months in jail for drug dealing. He owns the clothing line Outlaw Apparel, which sells all kinds of clothes internationally.

Once Jarrod officially began his storage-hunting career, he and Passante opened their first stand-alone store, Now and Then, in Orange, California. Since the couple joined Storage Wars, the store has become a bit of a tourist attraction, but it’s still a legitimate business. It’s jam-packed with odds and ends ranging from hard-to-find toys and furniture.
The couple previously operated a second location of the store in Long Beach, California but opted to close the site in 2014 when it became too much if a loss. Jarrod explained the decision, saying:
“Brandi and I have come to a decision. We can no longer fund this losing store here. We’re gonna have to close the doors. We’re gonna do our best to keep you on. Some of you will lose hours and some have to lose your jobs. We tried to make it work, we gave 100%. We’re not failing because we didn’t try”

He owns the clothing line Outlaw Apparel, which sells all kinds of clothes internationally. He founded Outlaw Apparel with a friend back in 2002, long before he opened his thrift store business.According to him, the brand was created by two friends who wanted to express their individuality and unique approach to life.Moreover, they created only a few clothes and stickers for themselves and their children, but the clothing line soon grew to include most types of clothes for men, women, and children. The clothing company got a publicity boost after Jarrod and Brandi started to star on television. He either creates or approves everything that comes out with the Outlaw brand and wears his own branded clothes while appearing on television.
