Jessica Dill is an American morning reporter and fill-in anchor for Fox 8 news in Cleveland, Ohio. She returned home after working in Augusta, Georgia as their morning and noon anchor. Before Augusta she was in Lima, Ohio working as a morning anchor, producer and reporter.

There was a very special story behind her wedding gown. It is 70 years old, passed down three generations through Jessica’s family. It was originally worn by her grandmother, Carol Donnelly. Jessica said her grandma bought the dress in downtown Cleveland at the Higbee Company on Public Square. She was married in it on October 20, 1951.
“I wore my mom’s dress who wore my grandma’s dress… who has always just been so fabulous,” she wrote on Facebook. Jessica stated, “Even though the dress was preserved, it yellowed overtime and parts began to wither. She met local designer, Lissa Marie Kvarda, who was able to scrub it back to the ivory color and add new lace to the bodice. The rest of the dress is original, even down to the buttons on the sleeves.”
Her mom, Anne wore the dress when she married Jess’ Dad, Joe, on June 24, 1978. Not only did Jessica wore the same dress as her grandmother and mom, she also held her wedding reception in the same location, The Renaissance. Back then, it was called Stouffer’s on the Square. She also had pearl earrings that belonged to her father’s mother turned into a bracelet for the day.
She is also a horse-rider, having had lessons when she was younger. She also has a dog named Percy. She is a long time supporter of the Cleveland Cavaliers and a huge Luke Bryan fan. Her grandfather, Joseph Dill, served in the U.S. Army in Korea, a fact she is very proud of.

Jessica is an award-winning anchor and reporter. She’s returning home after working in Augusta, Georgia as their morning and noon anchor. Before Augusta she was in Lima, Ohio working as a morning anchor, producer and reporter.
She loves being a newsroom leader in the anchor role. She is also a passionate storyteller. She won the Regional Hard News Edward R. Murrow award for her story “Criminals in the Classroom” where she looked into how schools handle minors with records, who they legally have to educate. Jessica also has a few Associated Press reporting awards and a Georgia Associated Press award for her anchoring.

Jessica has a long career in journalism that began way back in 2004. She worked with BG24 news from 2005-2008. Jessica was a reporter, anchor and producer in Chicago, IL from September 2008 to March 2009. During her time in Chicago, she did a lot of crime reporting. She also covered community issues such as the rising tension amongst the South Side gangs and political stories such as President Obama’s election.
Her next move was to Washington D.C. where she reports as a correspondent for KVRR-TV, covering national stories for North Dakota audience, from Capitol Hill. She landed the role of morning anchor reporter with WLIO: Your Hometown Stations in Lima, Ohio. She was then promoted to morning anchor producer. Jessica’s next career step was as an anchor at WRDW: CBS News in Augusta, Ohio.
