Kaylee Heck Biography
Kaylee Heck is an American Journalist. She joined the CBS4 team as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter in November 2018. Previously she was a Multimedia Journalist with CBS4 for a year and a half before moving into the sports department.

Kaylee Heck joined the CBS4 team as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Sports Reporter in November 2018. She was a Multimedia Journalist with CBS4 for a year and a half before moving into the sports department. Other team members at KFOX14/CBS4 includes Jessica Gonzalez, Amanda Guillen , Robert Holguin, Brad Montgomery, Holly Bock and Portia Baudisch. During her time at USC, she anchored, reported and produced for Annenberg TV News. Kaylee also had internships at NBC Nightly News, ABCNews.com, the PAC-12 Networks, WHNT in Huntsville, Ala. and KMTV in Omaha, NE. During her time at Annenberg Kaylee would pitch, report, write and edit one-man-band packages for live 6 p.m. newscast. She would also report live in the field using TVUPack technology and produce a live 30-minute newscast that serves the Los Angeles area.

During her internship at WHNT News 19 she was reporting on, write and edited day-of-air packages for anchors to track . Kayle would also pitch story ideas, help reporters cover breaking news and write stories for WHNT.com. She also assisted the interactive team with Facebook Live coverage.

During her internship at ABC News Kaylee was report on and write 2-4 stories that were published to ABCNews.com every day
She covered breaking news and featured stories, including the 2015 Tianjin explosions and an Omaha police officer killed the day before maternity leave. Kaylee also pitched and wrote stories that were picked up by World News Tonight and Good Morning America. She published 131 stories in just three months.
Kaylee Heck Pac-12 Networks
At Pac-12 Networks she Trained through the Pac-12 Networks’ Television Production Student Training Program. She trained in a number of positions including: red hat, runner, stage manager, spotter, statistics, utility and transmission operator (M/IO assist)
She also worked with the entire production team to have accurate score reporting for tennis and volleyball matches.
During her internship at Trojan Vision Television she served as a Associate Producer. She ran a team of 10 Associate Producers
Created rundowns, booked guests and prepped the show’s host for interview. Kaylee oversaw the control room during broadcast and integrated video and multimedia elements into the show.
At KMTV Kaylee shadowed and assisted general assignment reporters in the field. She pitched story ideas and worked on the assignment desk during breaking news storm coverage. Kaylee also helped with coverage at the NCAA College World Series, city council meetings and a double tornado in Pilger, NE.
