Keenan Willard is a recent transplant to Texas, originally hailing from North Carolina. He completed his education at Washington and Lee University in 2018, where he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Following his graduation, he ventured to Atlanta, where he gained valuable experience working in CNN’s Southeast Bureau.

After a six-month stint at CNN, Keenan made the decision to relocate to El Paso, Texas, to kickstart his professional reporting career at KFOX14 and CBS4. His aspiration is to become an international correspondent, and he was drawn to the El Paso area due to the potential for international reporting experiences in the Borderland.

In addition to his journalism career, Keenan is a devoted sports enthusiast. He has a long-standing loyalty to North Carolina State University and professionally supports the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder and the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. As a self-taught musician, he also plays the piano and guitar.
