Mark Duplass Biography
Mark Duplass is an American actor, film director and producer, musician, screenwriter, and author. He best know for co-starring on FX television series The League. He is also known as the brother of filmmaker Jay Duplass.
The two brothers they together began the film production company Duplass Brothers Productions. They have directed films such as The Puffy Chair (2005), Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011), and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon (2012). The two brothers also co-created the HBO television series Togetherness in 2015. Mark co-wrote, produced and starred in the 2014 horror film Creep alongside Patrick Brice.

Mark Duplass Creep
Mark alongside his brother Jay Duplass they have directed, written and produced several feature films. Mark wrote and produced The Puffy Chair with his brother in 2005 , in addition to portraying one of the main characters.
Mark and Jay later wrote, directed, and produced the films Baghead (2008) and Cyrus together. They have a unique style which consists of a great deal of ad-libbing off of the original script, shooting a number of takes, and editing scenes down 15 to 20 times. In 2012 their films Jeff, Who Lives at Home and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon were released.
Mark co-wrote, produced and starred in the horror film Creep alongside Patrick Brice in 2014 , he played the role of Josef. It was announced in May 2016 that there would be a sequel to Creep. In October 2017 creep 2 was released which Mark co-wrote and starred in.
Mark together with his wife Katie Aselton they starred in the FX comedy television series The League. The HBO series Togetherness debuted in 2015, which was created by and stars Mark. In the same year, Mark co-starred with Evan Peters and Olivia Wilde in David Gelb’s thriller film The Lazarus Effect.
Mark was in a Wealthsimple commercial in 2018, he appeared in Tully and Duck Butter, and released his debut book Like Brothers alongside Jay Duplass. He also starred as real estate developer Tom Wyatt in Season 2 of the Amazon Video series Goliath.
