Michael Feldman Biography (Radio Personality)
Michael Feldman is an American radio personality. He is the best known as the host of Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know?. Formerly was a radio show distributed by Public Radio International and now a podcast. Michael’s former announcer, Jim Packard, referred to him as “The Sage of Wisconsin.” He has given himself the title of “Producer Internationale,” and also refers to Public Radio International on-air as “The International House of Radio.”

During Savannah Guthrie‘s divorce to her first husband it was around that time that when she met her current husband Michael at his 40th birthday party. The couple began dating just months after Michael’s wife divorce.
Michael and Guthrie got engaged four years later in May of 2013. The couple was on vacation in Turks and Caicos when Michael got down on one knee and popped the question. Gutthrie, however, didn’t know he was proposing until she saw the ring box.
They got married on March 15, 2014 in a small ceremony with less than 100 guests near Guthrie’s hometown of Tucson, Arizona, according to People. During their wedding reception, they got up to announce that Guthrie was four months pregnant and they were expecting a child in the late summer.
They currently have two children an older daughter Vale and younger son Charles. Before she gave birth to her daughter Vale, Guthrie wrote a special Father’s Day article about Michael and the various traits she hopes her children get from him.
On Valentine’s Day of 2018, she was in Pyeongchang, South Korea to cover the 2018 Winter Olympics. Michael recorded a special video for the holiday with their children singing a song called, “Mommy Loves Us.”

Michael is the host of Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know?, formerly a radio show distributed by Public Radio International and now a podcast. Whad’Ya Know? is an American comedy, interview, and quiz radio show. It was created in 1985. During its radio run, it was produced by Wisconsin Public Radio and distributed through Public Radio International. Michael is accompanied on-stage by Lyle Anderson, phone-answerer; and the Whad’ya Know Trio with John Thulin on piano, Jeff Hamann on bass, and, on road shows, Clyde Stubblefield on drums.
Michael began his career by working as a teacher at Malcolm Shabazz City High School in Madison, Wisconsin, before finding work at radio station WORT. After, he worked as a cab driver before coming back to broadcasting, first at Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) in Madison, then at WGN (AM). In 1984 Michael’s show was canceled by WGN and he returned to WPR in 1985 to produce and host Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know?, in conjunction with Wisconsin Public Radio for Public Radio International. Whad’ya Know? celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015 , and is nearing its 1,000th broadcast.
