After graduating from high school, Jennings moved to Florida to attend the University of Florida located in Gainesville, Florida. During her time, she worked as a sports reporter and sports anchor at WUFT, a student-run on-campus news station and as a sports coordinator for ESPN 98.1 FM 850 AM WRUF. She was also Vice President of Membership and President of her sorority. Jennings graduated cum laude in May of 2018 with her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications with an outside concentration in sports management.
Currently, Jennings is working towards her master’s degree in sports management online at Texas A&M University. After graduation, Jennings aspires to work for a professional sports team as a team reporter. Her ultimate career goal is to be a sideline reporter for a major sports network.

Nicolette Jennings Miss Florida USA 2019
Nicolette of Palm Harbor was crowned Miss Florida USA 2019 on January 19, 2019 at Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Coral Springs. She represented Florida for the title of Miss USA 2019 on May 2, 2019 in Reno, Nevada where she placed in the Top 10. Madison Anderson was placed as the first runner-up behind winner Nicolette.
Jennings began her journey to the Miss USA stage in 2013 when she joined the 2014 Miss Maryland USA and Miss Maryland Teen USA pageant. There, she placed as second runner-up to Miss Maryland Teen USA 2014, Mariela Pepin.
Jennings encouraged by her strong performance, she registered for the 2015 Miss Maryland USA and Miss Maryland Teen USA pageant. Once again she was named to the Top 5 and placed as first runner-up to Miss Maryland Teen USA 2015, Taylor Dawson.
After she relocated to Florida for college, she won a local pageant and the opportunity to compete at the 2016 Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. Jennings’ first time competing as a Miss, she was named third runner-up to Miss Florida USA 2016, Brie Gabrielle.
She went back to the Miss Florida USA stage the year which followed after winning another local title. Jennings competed at the 2017 Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. Once again she was named to the Top 5 and placed as second runner-up to Miss Florida USA 2017, Linette De Los Santos.
Jennings went back for a third time to the Miss Florida USA stage when she competed at the 2018 Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. Once more she was named to the Top 5 and placed as first runner-up to Miss Florida USA 2018, Genesis Davila.
She went back for her forth try at the Miss Florida USA title when she entered the 2019 Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA pageant. After three consecutive Top 5 finishes, the crown was hers. Jennings was crowned Miss Florida USA 2019 on January 19, 2019 at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts located in Coral Springs, Florida. Jennings will go on to compete for the title of Miss USA 2019.
