Peter Hall Biography
Peter Hall is an American Meteorological Society certified meteorologist. He joined the NBC-3 and CNYCentral news team in 1995.
Peter is the morning meteorologist for NBC-3 Today in Central New York, weekdays first at 4 a.m. through 7 a.m. and through the Today Show into mid-morning. He also worked for Wayne Mahar’s Precision Weather Service since October 1993.

Frankie Jupiter joined Lisa and meteorologist Peter Hall as a co-anchor on “NBC 3 Today in Central New York,” replacing former NBC 3 (WSTM) morning anchor Jeremy Miller. Previously Jupiter worked as a reporter and anchor at FOX 19 (WXIX) in Cincinnati and at WDBJ in Roanoke, Virginia.
And Chicago reporter Melanie Johnson joined CNY Central as a reporter last month, joining the TV station after recently working at Spectrum News Rochester. CNY Central, which includes NBC 3 (WSTM), CW 6 (WSTQ) and CBS 5 (WTVH) in Syracuse, is operated by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Peter has also worked as a meteorologist for Precision Weather Service, forecasting and broadcasting weather for numerous cities throughout the North America since 1993. While he had always wanted to be a meteorologist, Peter discovered his love for broadcast meteorology while in college.
