Ray J (William Ray Norwood Jr) is an American singer, songwriter, television personality, actor, and businessman. He is the younger brother of singer and actress Brandy Norwood and the first cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg.

Ray J began his career as a child actor, appearing in commercials and television shows. He released his debut album, Everything You Want, in 1997, which was a commercial success, reaching number six on the Billboard 200 chart. He has since released four more studio albums.
