She is also know as the ex- wife of Master P American rapper, actor, businessman, record producer, philanthropist, and former basketball player. They have seven children. She was originally a member of the rap group, TRU, and released one solo album, 1993’s Married to the Mob.

After the divorce with Master P she went back to college at Pepperdine University, majoring in Theatre Arts with a minor in Journalism with an emphasis in Photo Journalism. She has recently accepted into the Honors program to go to UCLA or USC in the summer of 2018. She is working on writing a book with my Publicist Tammy Ty Page, building her modeling portfolio (alot of people say she can double as Angela Basset because of her side profile and body type which is an honor)- , She is also anticipating her upcoming Reality Show with some other women that have gone through the same things. So currently Sonya is very busy and staying positive within her new life as a divorcee and single mother to her remaining smaller kids. “I’m loving being a strong mother to my girls” she said.
