Stephanie is a news anchor and reporter at KTWO-ABC 2. Everybody can catch her reporting on the 4:00 and 5:30 newscasts, and anchoring the weekend morning shows. She is a New Mexico native, born and raised in Albuquerque. Stephanie was thrilled to be back in the Land of Enchantment when she got a job after moving away for a few year.
Stephanie attended Valley High School, and later graduated from New Mexico State University, with her Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication. After graduating, she moved to Casper, Wyoming. While she loved cowboy country, she missed the desert and of course the chile.
Stephanie covered local politics in Casper, focusing primarily on City Council but she was also privileged to interview both of Wyoming’s U.S. Senators, regularly.

Stephanie is now an award winning reporter at KTWO-ABC 2, where she also produces and anchors three newscasts a day. She can do it all. She writes, films and edits her own stories and she can even give you an accurate forecast. She is a highly motivated journalist, dedicated to telling captivating stories, important to the community, with accuracy and creativity. Stephanie is engaging and versatile primary anchor for KTWO News at 5, 6 & 10 o’clock. while at KTWO she successfully connects with viewers. She increased viewership by 15%, using strong news judgment and ingenuity to produce 3 newscasts a day. Stephanie provided viewers with extensive election coverage leading up to the 2018 Primary by interviewing candidates running for every office including: Governor, Wyoming House of Representatives, State Auditor, and U.S. Senate.
Stephanie also drew attention to the growing homeless veteran population with an award-winning report on
a homeless veteran’s funeral. Reporting resulted in raising thousands of dollars towards a new car, after a Casper family’s vehicle was stolen in Colorado during a visit to Denver Children’s Hospital. Stephanie is an experienced team leader in the newsroom. She monthly, sponsored series spotlights teachers who go above and beyond in the classroom. She worked side-by-side with reporters, generating fresh narratives to captivate our audience
nightly.
