Todd’s journey at WABI began in September 2001, and he currently holds the role of the weekday morning and noon Meteorologist. Hailing from Medway, Massachusetts, his fascination with weather dates back to his elementary school years when he closely observed Boston’s Meteorologists, especially during snowstorms, and hoped for those cherished “snow days.”
After completing high school, Todd ventured north to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology at Lyndon State College in the picturesque Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, where he proudly cheered for the Lyndon State Hornets. His first exposure to TV weather came through Lyndon’s student-run television station, which delivered news, weather, and sports to homes in the Northeast Kingdom five days a week.
Following his graduation, Todd’s career took him to WFQX, a FOX television station in Cadillac, Michigan, where he gained valuable experience. However, when the opportunity to fill the morning position at WABI arose, Todd and his wife, Lee, eagerly seized the chance to move closer to family, and the rest, as they say, is history.
In addition to his role at WABI, Todd actively engages with the local community, visiting schools and sharing his knowledge of all things weather with students. In his leisure time, you might spot Todd on a local baseball or softball field, dedicating his time to the local Little League organization, spending quality moments with his wife and children, or fine-tuning his recipe for what he claims is the best salsa on Earth.
Education-wise, Todd proudly holds a B.S. in Meteorology from Lyndon State College, where his passion for weather truly took flight.
