Originating from Pennsylvania, Tony has joined the ranks of Northeastern transplants who have discovered their new home in the Palmetto State, and he’s eager to embrace this region as his own.
Tony’s educational journey led him to Penn State University, where he dedicated four years to earning a degree in broadcast meteorology. His academic pursuits culminated in his graduation in the fall of 2017, catapulting him into his first job at WENY TV in January 2018. During his tenure, serving the Twin Tiers and Finger Lakes regions, Tony received numerous accolades from the Associated Press and the NYS Broadcaster’s Association, attesting to his exceptional contributions to the field.
While he fondly remembers his connections from the North, Tony is enthusiastic about forming new bonds along the Grand Strand and beyond. He shares his life with his beloved wife, Vanessa, and their two cherished feline companions, Nittany and Moon.
In his leisure time, Tony finds joy in the great outdoors, exploring the beach, embarking on storm-chasing adventures, traveling to new destinations, engaging in volunteer work, and indulging in occasional shopping sprees when his wallet allows. His passion for Philadelphia and Penn State sports shines through, adding a vibrant dimension to his interests.
