Tony Mullen, originally hailing from St. Louis, made his mark at the University of Missouri. In 2002, he embarked on a fulfilling journey with KRCG.

Tony’s association with KRCG began in the sports department, where he dedicated over 17 years of his career. However, a significant transition awaited him as he took on the role of a morning anchor on KRCG 13 Live at Sunrise.

His connection to Mid-Missouri started in 1998 when he enrolled at the University of Missouri. Four years later, he proudly graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Mizzou.

Joining the KRCG sports team in August 2002, Tony initially held the role of a sports photographer and reporter. Remarkably, within just 14 months, his dedication led to a well-deserved promotion to the position of weekend sports anchor.

Throughout his tenure at KRCG 13, Tony Mullen covered an impressive array of sporting events. These include the NCAA Tournament, SEC Championships, the Cotton Bowl, four World Series, and the Chiefs’ victorious Super Bowl 54 appearance.

When Tony isn’t immersed in the world of sports journalism, he finds joy in spending quality time with his family. He shares these cherished moments with his wife, Nicole, and their son, Ethan.
