Tony Pann became a valued member of the WBAL-TV 11 Weather team in October 2009.
His journey in meteorology began in 1988 when he started working on dispersion computer model weather forecasting for a private operational weather company in Chicago. Subsequently, he ventured into the world of television, securing his first TV position at WDTN in Dayton, Ohio.
With eight successful years at WBAL in Baltimore, Tony Pann’s career took him to prominent networks. He shared his meteorological expertise at WCBS in New York and WUSA in Washington, D.C.
Tony’s television presence reached impressive heights, making appearances on shows like NBC’s “Weekend Today,” CBS’s “The Early Show,” and “The David Letterman Show.”
Educationally, Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Northern Illinois University. He is also a proud member of the American Meteorological Society, further earning recognition with the AMS Seal of Approval for Television Weathercasting.
Beyond his professional life, Tony Pann resides in Baltimore County with his wife, Mary Ellen, and their daughter.
