Tracye Hutchins is a prominent figure at CBS46, where she co-anchors the CBS46 Morning News on weekdays at 4:30, 5, 6, and 7 a.m. Her journey with CBS46 began in the spring of 2007 when she joined to co-host the morning show.

Initially, Tracye spent six and a half years on the morning show, where she covered breaking news, community events, and conducted celebrity interviews. Later, in the fall of 2013, she transitioned to evening broadcasts.

Before her time in Atlanta, Tracye worked at the CBS affiliate KFMB in San Diego, California. Her career trajectory then took her to Atlanta, where she spent four years at CNN Headline News. During her time there, she covered a wide range of stories, including world news events, daily health features, and entertainment stories. Tracye was on the air during major breaking news stories like the Columbia space shuttle breakup over Texas and the capture of Saddam Hussein.

Over the last two decades, Tracye has traversed the country, reporting on a diverse range of stories, from hurricanes in Fort Myers, FL, to scorching 120-degree heatwaves in Phoenix, AZ, and factory closures in Terre Haute, IN, to soybean crops in Kirksville, MO. Her television news career began in 1993.
