Trang Do, a native of Philadelphia, brought her talents back home when she joined the Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter in March 2016.

Before returning to her hometown, Trang served as an investigative reporter with WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland. Her journalism career began as a Washington, D.C. correspondent for KTVQ-TV in Billings, Montana. She then gained experience as a reporter and anchor in Huntsville, Alabama at WAFF-TV and in York, Pennsylvania at WPMT-TV.

Trang’s roots in Philadelphia run deep; she is a graduate of Central High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and Spanish, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. During her senior year in college, she interned at CBS 3. Her academic journey continued with a Master’s degree in journalism from the Medill School at Northwestern University.

A dedicated journalist, Trang is a proud member of the Asian American Journalists Association. She, along with her husband, Kevin, resides in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, where she originally grew up.
