Trevor Peters became a valued member of the FOX19 NOW team in May 2020, taking on the roles of Alert Desk Anchor and Reporter. Living and reporting in the city where he spent his childhood visiting is a source of excitement and fulfillment for him.

Trevor’s roots are firmly planted in Indiana, as he was born and raised in Fishers. Growing up near Indianapolis, he faced the choice of becoming a Cubs or Reds fan and wisely chose the latter. The journey down I-74 to Reds games has been a cherished summer tradition for his family.

Before joining FOX19 NOW, Trevor served as the morning and noon anchor in Lafayette, Indiana at WLFI. During his tenure there, he played a pivotal role in the ongoing coverage of the unsolved murders of two young girls killed on a trail in Delphi, Indiana. He also reported a compelling series on Purdue alum Neil Armstrong and the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Trevor is a proud graduate of Purdue University and has a deep affinity for all things black and gold. His faith, family, and loyalty to his Boilermakers hold immense importance in his life. He maintains a strong connection to his alma mater as the in-game host for Purdue Football, a role he’s held since his student days.

On a personal note, Trevor and his fiancée Natalie tied the knot in July 2020. They share an enthusiasm for board games, craft beer, and good company. Trevor is also proud to hold the title of Eagle Scout.
