Tricia Sloma has been the co-anchor of WNDU-TV’s acclaimed “16 Morning News” since late 1993.

Her journey with the 16 News Now team began in early 1993 as a reporter. With an impressive track record, Tricia boasts five Emmy nominations, clinching the Chicago region Emmy in 2018 for her exceptional work in current affairs programming. Notably, she also received the Indiana Broadcasters Association 2018 Spectrum Award, in addition to numerous AP awards for her contributions to the state of Indiana.

Before joining WNDU, Tricia spent two years as a production assistant and reporter for the nationally syndicated agricultural news program “AgDay.” She also has valuable experience from working in various capacities for the Ohio Secretary of State’s office, ABN (Agri-Broadcasting Network), and WKTN-FM radio in Kenton, Ohio.

Tricia holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural communications from The Ohio State University. In her personal life, she and her husband are proud parents of two children. Her interests extend to travel, art, cooking, and gardening.
