Trish Williford is elated to be back in Charlotte, where she currently serves as the weekend anchor and reporter for WCCB Charlotte. Her prior experience in the Queen City includes three years as a reporter, during which she covered numerous significant stories. Before returning to Charlotte, Trish worked as a weekend anchor and reporter in Savannah.
Over her 15-year career, Trish has reported on a wide range of topics, from Category 5 hurricanes and deadly tornadoes to high-profile murder cases and even the corruption trial of a former Alabama Governor.
Hailing from Alabama, Trish pursued her education in English and journalism at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before securing her first on-air position, she spent several years working as a TV news producer.
Trish has a passion for mentoring and actively participates in training young journalists to help them excel in their careers.
