Tucker Sargent became a part of the 41NBC news team in April 2012. Originally hailing from Alabama, Tucker’s roots are firmly planted in the state, but you won’t hear him uttering the famous “Roll Tide!” He grew up near Auburn, then later moved to North Alabama. Tucker proudly graduated from Danville High School in 2007 and cherishes any opportunity to return to the picturesque Tennessee Valley.
Following his high school days, Tucker journeyed south to Troy, Alabama, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism at Troy University, completing his degree in 2011. Before joining 41NBC, he gained valuable experience through an internship at WAAY-TV in Huntsville.
Tucker’s true passion lies in sports, and his heart belongs to his favorite teams, the Auburn Tigers and Troy Trojans. During the weekends, you’ll often find him glued to the screen, watching college football on Saturdays and NASCAR on Sundays.
Currently, Tucker proudly calls middle Georgia his home. He’s always on the lookout for compelling story ideas, so don’t hesitate to reach out to him. You can contact Tucker Sargent at (478) 745-4141, extension 310, to share your thoughts or suggestions.
