Tyler Hall joined KALB in 2017 after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Journalism Arts from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont, with an added emphasis in Meteorology.

His journey at KALB began in August 2017, shortly after graduating in May of the same year. In January 2018, Tyler furthered his education by pursuing an Online Meteorology Certificate through Penn State. This dedicated effort led to his successful certification in April 2019, officially granting him the title of a forecaster.

Tyler’s fascination with weather dates back to his formative years and has since blossomed into a full-fledged passion. His enduring interest in snowstorms and hurricanes found an outlet at KALB, where he gets to discuss and track these meteorological phenomena, a prospect that greatly excites him.

Beyond the weather, Tyler is an active individual who enjoys spending time in the gym, hiking, and playing tennis. His connection with tennis goes back to 2006, and he continued to play competitively in high school and college. In fact, in the past year, he held the prestigious top spot on the Men’s Collegiate Roster for Tennis.

Moving from New England to Louisiana marked a significant adventure and change for Tyler. However, he is enthusiastic about the opportunity to explore Central Louisiana and all that the Bayou State has to offer.
