Tyler Johnson became an integral part of the Arklatexhomepage digital team in March 2020, assuming the role of a digital content producer. Originally hailing from Bronx, New York, Tyler’s academic journey led him to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he graduated in 2018 with a degree in Mass Communications, focusing on Journalism.
During his time as a student-athlete at ULM, Tyler displayed his dedication to the field by actively participating in the school paper. He further honed his skills during an internship at KNOE 8 news in Monroe, Louisiana, where he worked as a reporter.
In the spring of 2018, Tyler took a significant step in his career by securing a part-time position as an editor at KNOE 8 news. His talents shone, leading to a well-deserved promotion to a full-time role as a photographer/editor, further cementing his presence in the media industry.
Beyond his professional life, Tyler finds joy in various activities. He’s an avid cook and a travel enthusiast, enjoys quality time with friends and family, and finds solace in the rhythms of music.
