As a child, Veronica’s fascination with the weather was evident. Whenever a significant weather event occurred, she would eagerly run to the nearest window, captivated by the elements. Her mom’s voice often reminded her to step away from the window during severe thunderstorms, a testament to her unwavering curiosity.
Her childhood passion for the weather led her to pursue it academically at The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her B.S. in Meteorology. During her time at Penn State, she was an active member of the Campus Weather Service and worked as a meteorologist for CNET on the show “Weather or Not.”
Before her role at WTAJ, Veronica contributed her meteorological expertise to Clarksburg, WV at WBOY, initially as the weekend meteorologist before transitioning to weeknights. As a Pennsylvania native, she is thrilled to return to the state and be closer to her hometown of Philadelphia.
Outside of reporting the weather, Veronica indulges in her favorite shows and movies, delves into books, and expresses her artistic side. She particularly enjoys creating sketches and portraits of characters from her beloved shows and movies. When not immersed in art, she relishes spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and sharing joyful moments with her family.
