Vicki Graf is a valued member of the Boston25 Storm Tracker Weather team, where she assumed her role in May 2018. She holds the designation of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) and also boasts the National Weather Association Seal of Approval (NWA). In her position at WFXT, she serves as both a meteorologist and an environmental reporter.

Vicki’s journey in meteorology began in her hometown of Marblehead, where she developed a keen interest in weather at an early age, thanks to her fourth-grade teacher. Her fascination with meteorology grew stronger, particularly in the study of tropical systems, after Hurricane Bob wreaked havoc in New England in 1991.

Before her tenure at WFXT, Vicki worked at WSOC in Charlotte, NC, where she was part of an Emmy-nominated weather team. She also had a successful stint in Augusta, GA, where her exceptional coverage during severe weather outbreaks and a rare winter snowstorm earned her the ‘Best Weather Reporting’ award from the Georgia AP. Additionally, she served as the Chief Meteorologist for WDHN in Dothan, AL. Vicki also gained experience working for Weather Services International (WSI), based in Andover, MA.

Vicki holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. She is an active member of professional organizations like the American Meteorological Society, the National Weather Association, Chi Epsilon Pi Meteorology Honors Society, Omicron Delta Kappa, Order of Omega, and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.

Beyond her work in meteorology, Vicki enjoys staying active. Although she used to be a gymnast, she has transitioned to running and has already completed four marathons. She aspires to run the Boston Marathon one day. Returning to her family in New England has been an exciting opportunity for her, and she looks forward to exploring this beautiful region further.
