Wayne has been a dedicated member of the WTVA team since 1982. Throughout his tenure, he’s undertaken a variety of roles, from operating floor cameras to anchoring the weekend news.
After a brief hiatus from the industry, Wayne made a triumphant return in 1998 as a reporter and photographer.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from Mississippi State University in 1981.
As a Tupelo native, Wayne has always cherished the aspect of this profession that involves meeting people and encountering something new every day. He appreciates the ever-changing nature of the business.
Since 1985, Wayne has been happily married to his wife, Pauline. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Stephanie, and a son, David.
