Jawan (2023) Movie Review
Jawan is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Atlee and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover.
The film follows a RAW agent (Khan) who is on a mission to take down a powerful criminal organization (led by Sethupathi). Nayanthara plays Khan’s love interest, while Malhotra plays a RAW analyst.
Jawan is a visually stunning film, with some of the most impressive action sequences ever seen in Indian cinema. Atlee’s direction is top-notch, and he keeps the film moving at a brisk pace throughout.
Khan is in excellent form as the RAW agent, and he delivers some of his best action scenes in recent years. Nayanthara is also very good as Khan’s love interest, and she has good chemistry with him. Sethupathi is menacing as the main antagonist, and he gives a chilling performance.
The supporting cast is also very good, with Malhotra, Grover, and the others all delivering strong performances.
The film’s only real flaw is its screenplay, which is a bit predictable and clichéd at times. However, the film’s strong action sequences, direction, and performances make up for this.
