She is married to Good Morning America senior broadcast producer John Ferracane. The couple married Thursday May 21, 2015. The couple said “I do” in a small, beach ceremony at the Round Hill Resort and Villas in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Leading up to his nuptials, Ferracane said “I can’t wait to escape to Jamaica and get married to the most beautiful woman in the world in front of our family!. The couple broke tradition, skipping out on a wedding party and first dance. Instead, they  celebrated poolside with their closest relatives. Following the sunset ceremony, the journalists treated their 11 wedding guests to lots of seafood and Jamaican jerk spices.

“We had the most wonderful wedding,” Linzie said. “An absolute dream come true. There was an almighty thunder storm, and we had to move the ceremony into the villa we rented, but it was beautiful and we got a rainbow just in time for the photos.” They currently live in New York.

Linzie  is an ABC News correspondent based in New York. She is best known for reporting for all programs and platforms, including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Nightline” and “20/20.”

Linzie has covered a wide range of stories from the deadly Northern California fires to the Pulse nightclub shooting, which earned her an Emmy® Award for her breaking news coverage. Linzie was one of the first American journalists to survey the destruction in the U.S. Virgin Islands during Hurricane Irma.  She covered the return of American college student Otto Warmbier from North Korea.

Linzie was the first television journalist to sit down with Hulk Hogan after his legal victory over Gawker Media.  She also reported on the sinking of the El Faro cargo ship; covered the two escaped convicts from a maximum security prison in New York.
