Tom thrives on the meteorological challenges presented by central Pennsylvania’s four distinct seasons. Over the years, he has covered a gamut of weather events, from major flooding in 2004 and 2011 to significant snowfalls in 2003 and 2010, not to mention every severe thunderstorm and tornado in between. It’s this hands-on experience and dedication that have earned Tom the trust of the community in delivering accurate weather forecasts.

His commitment extends beyond the weather report, as he actively engages in community initiatives. Tom is frequently involved in fundraising for various charities, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association. Moreover, he dedicates his time to visiting schools, where he imparts his knowledge and enthusiasm about weather to young minds with unique energy.

Tom’s stellar career has garnered numerous accolades, including an Emmy award. He proudly holds the American Meteorological Society’s Seal and the National Weather Association Seal, further attesting to his expertise and credibility.

In his personal life, Tom and his wife are parents to three daughters and share their home with two dachshunds affectionately known as the “Weather Weenies.” Tom’s passion for weather and commitment to community engagement make him a respected figure in central Pennsylvania.
