In October 2019, Tracey Leong became a valued addition to the KIRO 7 Morning News team, where she collaborates with seasoned Morning News Anchor Michelle Millman, Meteorologist Nick Allard, and Traffic Reporter Tracy Taylor.

Tracey’s journalism journey commenced in Humboldt County, California, where she wore multiple hats as a multimedia reporter, producer, weather forecaster, and anchor at KIEM TV. She continued her career in Northern California, landing in Redding, where she took on the role of a multimedia reporter and evening anchor at KRCR TV. The next step in her journey led her across the country to Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked as a general assignment reporter and morning anchor at WJZ TV. Most recently, she graced the screens of Los Angeles as a general assignment reporter at FOX 11 KTTV.

A true Southern Californian, Tracey proudly holds a degree from Cal Poly Pomona. During her college years, she had the exciting opportunity to intern for Late Night with Conan O’Brien in New York. She also ventured to China, where she taught English, showcasing her passion for diverse experiences.

When her workday is over, Tracey dedicates her time to volunteering for animal rescue causes and advocating against animal abuse. She’s a strong proponent of promoting healthy heart initiatives. Her love for the outdoors is evident as she engages in activities like hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, snowboarding, and biking, relishing the vast array of adventures available in the Northwest. Additionally, she shares her adventures with her spirited dog, Bella.
