Travis Buckner plays a key role as the Sports Reporter and Sports Anchor with the esteemed Sports 12 Team. He took on his full-time sports reporting responsibilities in July 2017.
Travis is an alumnus of the University of North Texas, having earned his bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television in December 2016. During his college years, he gained valuable experience by interning at Fox Sports Southwest. Additionally, he served as a sports analyst for student-operated television shows, “Sports Zone” and “Mean Green Gameday.”
Following his graduation, Travis delved into the world of sports commentary as a play-by-play commentator for the premier college league baseball team known as “The Texarkana Twins.”
Beyond his professional life in sports, Travis has a passion for a variety of interests. He’s an avid movie enthusiast and values quality time spent with family and friends. His love for sports extends to both playing and watching them. Embracing the outdoors is another source of enjoyment for him.
