Veronica Jean Seltzer, known as VJ, has recently joined ABC 36 as an Anchor/Reporter. On most weekdays, you can catch her delivering the latest news. VJ’s roots extend from a small horse farm outside New York City, and her most recent reporting experience comes from South Bend, Indiana, where she worked for the CBS and Fox affiliates.
VJ is well-educated, holding a Master of Science in Journalism degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University. Her passion for journalism has deep origins. It all started as she studied graffiti as an ancient form of communication in Athens, Greece. During her time as a student journalist in Morocco, she learned a crucial journalistic lesson: the best stories are about people.
Living in and around Lexington, VJ has found her happy place. She feels most at home among horses and a diverse community of fascinating individuals. Her weekdays are dedicated to reporting, and on the weekends, she’s committed to bringing her neighbors the news that matters most to them. VJ enjoys immersing herself in neighborhood events, exploring new places, horseback riding, skiing, sailing, and indulging in good movies.
