Heather Lake is an American journalist who is working in San Diego as a lifestyle reporter and producer at FOX 5. She Began her career in journalism in Orlando, Florida at WESH, where she covered nearly a dozen hurricanes and tropical storms was a news writer and producer. Raised in Orlando, she spent most of her teen years as a cast member at one of the many amusement parks. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.

Heather arrived in San Diego in 2008. Since then she has covered some of the city’s largest events including Comic-Con and opening day at the Del Mar Races. Heather’s high energy and enthusiasm, for life gives San Diego a reason to smile as they start their day.
Before heading to the west coast, she was an anchor, reporter and bureau chief at WCTI in Jacksonville, NC working closely with the military community at Camp Lejeune. Some of her most memorable assignments include working alongside the Hope for Warriors foundation as they granted “warrior wishes” to many of our service men and women.
