Throughout her career, she has taken on various roles, including serving as an Assignment Editor, anchoring for nearly two years, working as a reporter for several years, and hosting Coastal Connections for an impressive span of more than four years.

Her academic accomplishments are equally noteworthy, as Toni graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern Mississippi. During her time there, she held the role of editor at the Student Printz. Following her academic success, Toni ventured to Capitol Hill for an internship where she worked for a U.S. Senator. Her journey then led her back to Mississippi, where she assumed the role of a reporter at WDAM in Hattiesburg.

Subsequently, Toni relocated to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she continued her reporting career. She worked as a reporter for FOX 25 in Biloxi, and then transitioned to WLOX-TV news in Biloxi. Her role at WLOX began as a producer and expanded to encompass positions as a photographer, reporter, weekend assignment editor, and weekend anchor. Notably, she was part of the station team that received prestigious awards, including the Edward Murrow and Peabody awards, for their coverage during Hurricane Katrina.

Toni’s career took her to the Lone Star State, where she assumed roles such as the morning and noon anchor, investigative reporter, and live shot reporter for KZTV Action 10 News, and later, KRIS TV News in Corpus Christi, Texas. Her journey eventually brought her back to the Magnolia State, where she joined WDBD Fox 40 news in Jackson as a multi-media journalist and fill-in anchor.

In her personal life, Toni is grateful for the support of a close-knit network of family, friends, and mentors. She is passionate about giving back and cherishes her three-legged chiweenie named Rocky Balboa, a name inspired by his fighting spirit.
