I grew up in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, and my fascination with weather began early on. During my junior high and high school years, I operated a home weather station. I later provided radio weather updates in Beaumont. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State. I also earned a degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

While in Mobile, I had the privilege of working on a NOAA-funded project. Our goal was to establish mesonet weather stations along the central Gulf coast for hurricane landfall research. Beyond my professional interests, I enjoy hobbies such as pencil drawing, sketching, oil painting, and exploring new places. My love for church and quality time with friends and family is a significant part of my life. I’m excited to be a part of the Newscenter25 news team, and I look forward to sharing my passion for weather with our audience.
