Will Hall is brimming with excitement about being a part of the KTVB team in the Treasure Valley. He embarked on his journey with KTVB in October 2014, following two and a half years of dedicated service as a sports reporter and anchor at WOI, the ABC station in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa.

From a young age, Will’s heart was set on becoming a sports anchor and reporter, and he’s living his dream in a city as beautiful and sports-passionate as Boise. Will’s infectious passion for sports and his cheerful personality shine through in his sportscasts across the Treasure Valley. His coverage extends far beyond Boise State’s athletic programs, encompassing the College of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene, and a wide range of high school sports, including football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. Will’s expertise also extends to reporting on the Steelheads, Boise Hawks, and various other sports-related topics in the Treasure Valley. Notably, his storytelling prowess earned him an Emmy nomination.

Will’s journey in journalism began at WOI, where he interned during his senior year of high school and continued throughout his college years at Iowa State University (go Cyclones!). His dedication to sports reporting was recognized with the 2014 Iowa Broadcast News Association award.

Beyond the studio, Will is an avid explorer of Boise’s outdoor offerings. He’s a passionate runner, an unwavering Iowa State Cyclone fan, and cherishes spending quality time with his family. He also takes every opportunity to sample the many breakfast spots Boise has to offer.

One of Will’s greatest passions is storytelling, and he relishes sharing stories that resonate with viewers on a personal level. Whether you have a story idea, some advice, or simply a breakfast recommendation, don’t hesitate to reach out to him via email at whall@ktvb.com.
